Sally came to our office a few months before her daughter was to get married. Over the years she had noticed that her front teeth were getting shorter and shorter. When looking at her teeth the grinding was so severe that the nerve was exposed in each of front teeth. Her molars and bicuspids had large mercury fillings that had cracked and fractured the surrounding tooth structure holding the fillings in. Leakage of these fillings was evident where the fillings met the tooth structure. She was also missing a couple of teeth that had been extracted a number of years and was never given an option to replace.
